Helena made 31 cards for her classmates and a few special teachers. She used potatoes carved into different shaped hearts dipped into some tag sale fabric paint to stamp a different design for each person. Then she wrote a very heartfelt sentence on each one "Rosalina is an honest friend", "Devon C. is trustworthy" and my very favorite "Publio is well behaved" - when I asked her about this one she replied that "Publio sometimes has a hard time being good, but he tries really hard to be good so I thought if I wrote this on his card that it would make him feel good about himself."
